रेल मंत्रालय (रेलवे बोर्ड) ने अपने पत्र क्रमांक E(NG)-II/96/RR-1/62 दिनांक 18.07.2005 के माध्यम से
ग्रुप 'D' पदों की भर्ती की शक्तियाँ महाप्रबंधकों को सौंप दी हैं। इसके अनुपालन में, सेंट्रल रेलवे में
रेलवे भर्ती सेल (RRC) की स्थापना की गई। रेलवे भर्ती सेल को खुले बाज़ार (ओपन मार्केट) से सभी
ग्रुप 'D' पदों की भर्ती की जिम्मेदारी सौंपी गई है।
Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) vide their Letter No. E(NG)-II/96/RR-1/62 dated 18.07.2005 have delegated the powers of recruitment to Group ‘D’ posts to the General Managers. In pursuance to this, Railway Recruitment Cell was opened in Central Railway. The Railway Recruitment Cell has been entrusted with the responsibility to make recruitment to all Group ‘D’ posts from open market.

अधिकार क्षेत्र में आने वाले अन्य इकाइयों में पूर्ववर्ती ग्रुप 'D' और कुछ ग्रुप 'C' के रिक्त पदों के
लिए भर्ती करता है।
The Railway Recruitment Cell undertakes recruitment for Erstwhile Group ‘D’ and some Group 'C' vacancies in Mumbai, Pune, Bhusawal, Nagpur, Solapur Divisions, Workshops and extra divisional units
in the territorial jurisdiction of Central Railway.
